As reported by Brila, the head of Nigeria’s wrestling team, Purity Akuh, has revealed that the trio of Odunayo Adekuoroye, Aminat Adeniyi and Blessing Oborududu will be competing at the event as they intensify preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Adekuoroye is a double world medallist and two-time Commonwealth Games champion.

Adeniyi and Oborududu both joined their compatriot in winning gold at Gold Coast 2018 with the former successfully following up her triumph from Glasgow 2014.

The two-day tournament will feature more than 175 wrestlers from 25 different nations.

The entry list includes a total of eight medallists from the 2018 World Championships in Budapest.
