A full entry list for this year’s event has not been released but, in 2018, 221 athletes from 41 countries took part.

Among those expected to compete this year is London 2012 Paralympic champion Abdullah Sultan Alaryani.

The UAE athlete won three golds at the recent International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation World Games on home soil and will look to triumph again in the mixed 10m air rifle prone SH1, mixed 50m rifle prone SH1 and the men’s 10m air rifle standing SH1.

Great Britain’s Matt Skelhon, a Paralympic gold medallist at Beijing 2008, will also be hoping for a strong performance having broken the R3 10m air rifle prone SH1 world record at last year’s event.
