Philippines will make their Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) qualifying event debut in their bid to compete at the International Floorball Federation (IFF) 2019 Women's World Championships.

The Asia Oceania qualification event is set to begin tomorrow at the Huamark Indoor Stadium in the Thai capital Bangkok.

It will be Philippines debut appearance, with the country competing against Australia, Thailand and New Zealand in Group A.

The group stage will take place until Wednesday (January 30), with the knockout rounds then determining the four teams that will appear at this year's IFF Women's World Floorball Championships in Switzerland.

The teams who finish first in Group A and Group B progress straight to to the final and qualify directly for the World Championships.
