Oh Jin-hyek and Jeon Hunyoung of South Korea won the men's and women's recurve events at the World Archery Indoor World Series event in Macau.

Oh defeated top seed Jean-Charles Valladont of France 6-2 in the final of the men's recurve event. 

He had beaten Macau's Io Kou Chim in the second round, Iran's Amir Ali Shirgholami in the quarter-final and compatriot Lee Seungshin in the semis to reach the final. 

Lee then went on to win bronze for South Korea, triumphing against Australia's David Barnes 6-2 to win the third-place match. 

South Korea was also guaranteed a gold medal in the women's recurve final, with compatriots Yun Mi Jin and Jeon Hunyoung coming up against each other.

It was Jeon that emerged victorious, beating Yun 6-2.

Her journey to the final included winning 6-0 against Hong Kong's Poon Yee Tung, 7-1 against Macau's Huang Dae and 7-3 against fellow South Korean Jung Dasomi. 

Dasomi took home the bronze medal with a 6-4 defeat of Ryoo Su Jung. 

In the men's compound final, top seed Mike Schloesser of The Netherlands narrowly beat India's Rajat Chauhan 147-146 to win gold. 

Kim Taeyoon of South Korea got bronze after winning against Russia's Iurii Demakov 146-141. 

The women's compound gold went to Alexis Ruiz of the United States with a 146-141 victory over Nur Syahidah Alim of Singapore. 

Today was the final day of action at the Macau Indoor Archery Open, held at The Venetian. 

The next World Archery event will be the Roma Archery Trophy in Italy.
