The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) organised a seminar on sports law which attracted athletes, coaches and other sports officials.

Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) member Enrico Pedro Ingles was among those to speak at the event in Pasig City.

His son Ignatius Michael "Mickey" Ingles, a fellow lawyer, also attended at the Meralco Mini Theater alongside POC general counsel Alberto Agra.

Four hours of discussions were held on the rights and privileges of athletes and the obligations and duties of coaches.

Enrico Ingles, a CAS member since 2002, spoke about cases that have been brought before the Lausanne-based court.

His son talked about obligations and liabilities which could occur during competitions.

"If you're an athlete and you get injured, can you sue the one who injured you?" Mickey Ingles said

"If you're a coach, what are your duties?

"What do you teach your players?

"When an athlete suddenly collapses while you're coaching, can the coach be liable for it?

"If you are an organiser or a facility-owner or a school, when someone gets injured while playing in your facility, can you be sued?"
