Hong Kong's Wai Sze Lee won the women's sprint title at the International Cycling Union Track World Cup in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in France.

She claimed a 2-0 victory in the gold medal rides against Stephanie Morton of Australia at the Vélodrome de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

Bronze went to Russia's Daria Shmeleva who denied France's Mathilde Gros on home soil.

This duel needed a deciding race in the best-of-three which went to the Russian.

Denmark won the women's madison as Amalie Dideriksen and Julie Leth ended on 23 points.

Britain's Neah Evans and Emily Kay finished on the same tally but the Danes won gold as they finished ahead in the final sprint.

Australia's Georgia Baker and Macey Stewart won bronze on 19.

In the men's scratch race, Austria's Stefan Matzner clinched gold with Australia's Leigh Howard taking silver and home French rider Adrien Garel bagging bronze.

Spain's Albert Torres Barcelo won the men's omnium, finishing the four disciplines with 174 points.

Britain's Oliver Wood won silver on 142 as bronze went to Benjamin Thomas of France on 142.

In the men's keirin, Yuta Wakimoto won gold for Japan.

Edward Dawkins was the silver medallist for New Zealand with bronze going to Krzysztof Maksel of Poland.
