Samir Aït Saïd and Juliette Bossu impressed in qualifying in front of a home crowd at the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) World Challenge Cup Series in Paris.

Aït Saïd would top the standings in the men's rings competition at the Accorhotels Arena in the French capital.

The Frenchman achieved a score of 15.000 points to lead qualification for tomorrow's final.

Russia's Denis Abliazin and Ukraine's Igor Radivilov scored 14.800 and 14.750 to complete the top three.

Bossu led the women's uneven bars field, with the French gymnast achieving a qualifying score of 14.050.

Ellie Downie of Britain and Sweden's Jonna Adlerteg achieved 14.000 and 13.850 to round out the top three, with Elisabeth Black fourth in 13.800.

The Canadian would top the women's vault qualifying standings, with Black’s two efforts achieving an average score of 14.350.

Slovenia's Tjasa Kysselef was second on 13.675, while Oksana Chusovitina of Uzbekistan managed 13.600 for third.

The men's pommel horse qualification was tightly fought, with Slovenia's Saso Bertoncelj and Canada's Thierry Pellerin both managing a score of 14.700.

Bertoncelj would top the standings due to his higher execution score of 9.000.

France's Cyril Tommasone ended in third place, with the local athlete receiving a score of 14.400 for this routine.

Spain's Rayderley Zapata qualified in first place for the men's floor final with a total of 14.600, ending just 0.050 ahead of France's Julien Gobaux.

Third place went to Artem Dolgopyat, with the Israeli scoring 14.550.

Finals will take place tomorrow.
