An International Ski Federation (FIS) Summer Development Camp for ski jumping and Nordic combined in Romania has been declared a success.

Athletes from Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, South Korea, Slovakia, Ukraine and the host nation attended the camp in Râşnov.

All of the represented countries are emerging nations in Nordic sports.

They participated in a programme of training and competition, with the Râşnov ski jump in full use.

Expert coaches were on hand to give advice to the athletes, and specific sessions in ski jumping and roller skiing were held.

An FIS Carpat Cup event and two FIS Cup events were then organised by the Romanian Ski Federation for the participants at the end of the training camp.

The next FIS Development Camp for ski jumping and Nordic combined will be held in December.
