The event, which begins at the Taoyuan Arena on Wednesday (September 19), is the first to be held in the country and will see a host of the sport's top names take to the mat.

Walkden is among the high-profile names due to be in action.

South Korea's 2016 Olympic gold medalist Oh Hye-ri is also among the entrants and will face the likes of Turkish world champion Nur Tatar Askari, Ruth Gbagbi of the Ivory Coast and Britain's Lauren Williams in the under 67kg division.

Reigning Olympic champion Cheick Sallah Cisse, also from the Ivory Coast, headlines the men's under-80kg tournament.

Cisse sat out last month's Grand Prix in Moscow and makes his return to the circuit, where he could go up against Russian Maksim Khramtcov and British-born Moldovan Aaron Cook.

The event is scheduled to run through to Saturday (September 21) and offers Olympic ranking points alongside considerable prize money.
