France wrapped up a comfortable victory as the International Equestrian Federation Eventing Nations League event concluded in Poland today.

The French team of Maxime Livio, Christopher Six and Francois Lemiere led from start to finish on their way to recording 115.80 points in Strzegom.

Britain, represented by Alice Dunsdon, William Oakden and Coral Keen, did enough for second place on 139.40 points.

Third place went to the Italian trio of Simone Sordi, Sara Breschi and Marco Biasia after they scored 209.00.

Six, on board Totem de Brecey, was the best-placed French rider as he finished second in the show jumping segment of the competition, which brought the event to a close.

The show jumping event was won by Japan's Yoshiaki Oiwa and his horse Calle 44 ahead of Six.

Oakden, riding Cooley Ramiro, was third.

The result saw France complete a dominant triumph in the Polish city.

The French side held a slender lead after the dressage and extended it following the cross-country yesterday.

Only a complete collapse could have denied the French team victory and they avoided it today with another assured performance.
