Portugal is set to welcome players for the BNP Paribas World Team Cup Europe qualification event from tomorrow.

It will be the final continental qualification tournament for the World Team Cup Final in The Netherlands.

The competition is taking place at the Vilamoura Tennis Academy in Quarteira and is being organised by the wheelchair tennis department of the International Tennis Federation, which is based in Great Britain.

The hard court event will offer European nations the chance to secure their spot at the World Team Cup final, which will take place in Apeldoorn from May 28 to June 3.

Only the winners of the men's and women's competitions will be assured of progression to the final.
