Mayar Hany won back-to-back titles in March ©PSA

Egypt's Mayar Hany and Malaysia's Nafiizwan Adnan have been named as the Professional Squash Association's (PSA) Players of the Month for March.

Hany had an outstanding month after securing back-to-back titles at the PSA Women's Squash Week in Calgary  and the Queen City Open in Regina, both events taking place in Canada.

The Egyptian, who had not won a title since her maiden PSA World Tour crown at the Seattle Open in 2016, defeated England’s Fiona Moverley by an 11-9, 17-15, 11-8 scoreline to clinch gold at the PSA Women's Squash Week - her biggest PSA title win to date.

The 21-year-old then followed this up with a victory at the Queen City Open, seeing off competition from compatriot Nada Abbas in the final with an 11-5, 5-11, 11-7, 14-12 win.

Adnan, a silver medallist at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, has been named as the men’s player of the month after reaching the final of the Montreal Open before going on to win the Manitoba Open PSA M15 title.

The world number 35 did not drop a single game on his way to the Manitoba Open final, eventually going on to defeat New Zealand's Campbell Grayson 11-6, 7-11, 11-6, 11-4 in that final to secure his 11th PSA World Tour title.
