International Swimming Federation (FINA) have announced the renewal of a partnership with Chinese sport manufacturer HOSA to support diving and marathon swimming world series events.

The renewal of the partnership will HOSA continue to support both the series through until 2021.

HOSA are the title sponsor of the Marathon Swim World Series following an agreement reached back in 2015.

They are also a sponsor of the Diving World Series.

"FINA is very pleased to renew with HOSA until 2021, a trustworthy and prestigious partner since 2015 which has tremendously improved the quality and the reach of the most important diving and open water annual showcases after the FINA World Championships," Cornel Marculescu, the FINA executive director, said.

"HOSA’s support is important to achieve a successful strategy for those two events."

FINA claim the sponsorship has helped boost the promotion of diving and open water worldwide and HOSA's corporate brand image.

The extended agreement was signed at the Water Cube in Beijing, the venue for swimming competition at the 2008 Olympic Games.

The signing ceremony was arranged during the first event of the Diving World Series, which took place in the Chinese capital city.

"We were honoured to be a partner of the Marathon Swim World Series with FINA since 2015 and now we are even more excited to work closer with FINA for both the Marathon Swim World Series and the Diving World Series," said Shi Hongliu, HOSA chairman.

"We will continue our international strategy with FINA and provide more efforts on promoting aquatic sports in the world. 

"We will try hard to train more young talents, venue building, competition management.

"We will make it our priority to make aquatic sports stronger and more popular."

HOSA have targeted increasing the awareness of their brand, as well as securing their statues at the number one Chinese swimwear company.
