The 2018 edition of the World Para Swimming World Series season will begin tomorrow in Copenhagen.

A total of 215 swimmers from 26 countries are expected in the Danish capital, with 28 medal events to be contested at Bellahoej Svoemmestadion.

As with last year's inaugural World Series circuit, all races will feature swimmers of various classifications with winners determined by a points system.

Quadruple Paralympic gold medallist Sarah Louise Rung is set to be one of the key names in action, with the Norwegian winning four titles at last year's World Championships in Mexico City.

Dutch Paralympic champions Liesette Bruinsma and Marc Evers of The Netherlands will be others to watch, alongside Yip Pin Xiu of Singpaore.

Action will take place until Sunday (March 4).

Five further stops will take place following the action in Copenhagen.

The European Championships in Irish capital Dublin, taking place between August 13 and 19, are a key event on many swimmers' radar.
