The World Youth Bowls Championships will be held from tomorrow at the Broadbeach Bowls Club in Australia.

Youngsters from across the world will compete until March 2 at the venue which will also be used for lawn bowls competition at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in April.

Men's, women's and mixed pairs competitions will all be held.

Hosts Australia, Canada, Guernsey, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Malta, Namibia, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, Turkey and Wales are the countries and territories set to take part.

Australia have picked Aaron Teys and Corey Wedlock as their men's representatives while Ellen Ryan, Kristina Krstic and Chloe Stewart will play in the women's event.

Teys and Ryan and Wedlock and Krstic will team up in the mixed pairs.
