The Olympic Committee of Andorra (COA) oversaw the 29th Manel Cerqueda Memorial Trophy which featured more than 60 Alpine skiing veterans.

Competition in the tiny European nation was sponsored by Andbank, a partner of the COA.

Skiers took part in a giant slalom race on the L'Esparver de Soldeu-El Tarter ski run.

The winners of the different age categories were Ivan del Moral, Tomàs Mijares and David Rous while the top three women were Judith Lluent, Meritxell Pifarré and Gabriela Puncernau.

The event pays tribute to the first President of the Andorra Ski Club.

Andorra has never won a Summer or a Winter Olympic medal.

Skiing is the country's national sport, with a team of five representing the nation at the ongoing Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

Marc Oliveras, Joan Verdu Sanchez and Mireia Gutiérrez are competing in Alpine events with cross-country competitor Irineu Esteve Altimiras also in action.

Lluis Marin Tarroch competed in men's snowboard cross.
