Germany’s Christian Ahlmann claimed the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) World Cup Jumping Western European League title in Leipzig.

Riding on 18-year-old Taloubet Z, Athens 2004 gold medallist Ahlmann recorded a winning time of 43.19sec in the jump-off following a standard round time of 67.75, the third-best time of the 15 riders that entered the jump-off.

It was the perfect end for stallion Taloubet Z, who will now retire from the sport.
