Kamil Stoch became only the second athlete to win each of the Four Hills Tournament competitions in a single season after he triumphed in Bischofshofen today.

The Polish ski jumper was seeking to join Sven Hannawald as the only man to achieve the feat, with the German having done so back in 2002.

Stoch had won competitions in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany, before securing victory in the first event in Austria at Innsbruck.

The 30-year-old produced jumps of 132.5 and 137 metres in the two rounds today, leaving him on a score of 275.6 points at the second Austrian hill.

It proved enough to secure the victory in front of Norway’s Anders Fannemal, who ended as the runner-up on 272.4.

The podium was completed by Germany’s Andreas Wellinger on 270.5 points.

Stoch’s four wins saw him easily win the Four Hills Tournament on a score of 1108.8, with Wellinger and Fannemal completing the top three on 1039.2 and 1021.3.

The Polish jumper has also equalled the record for most consecutive wins at the event, having won the final event last year when he also won the Four Hills.

The double Olympic gold medallist joins Germany's Helmut Recknagel and Hannawald as the only other men to win five straight competitions.

The result has also seen him close on Richard Freitag in the Ski Jumping World Cup standings, as he now has 623 points to the German's 711.

Freitag did not compete today due to a hip injury.
