Switzerland have selected their wheelchair curling team for the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Paralympics.

The country will compete in the sport at the Games for the first time since Vancouver 2010 and is sending five athletes to South Korea.

Claudia Huettenmoser is the only survivor from the Vancouver Games with skip Felix Wagner poised for a Paralympic debut alongside Marcel Bodenmann, Beatrix Blaeuel and Hans Burgener.

The Swiss booked their place in Pyeongchang after finishing fourth on home ice at the 2016 World Championships in Lucerne.

Luana Bergamin, the Chef de Mission for the Swiss team, said: "It motivates me a lot that we now represent at least two sports in these Games.

"This is enormously important for the whole of Paralympic sport in this country.

"The curling team has made tremendous progress in recent years and from time to time the top teams have been staggered."
