The European Water Polo World League is played across various European cities with three teams divided into three groups.

After the conclusion of six rounds, the four best teams will be qualified for the Super Final.

It  is due to be held from June 18 to 23, with the European teams set to be joined by four other sides who have qualified from Intercontinental Tournaments.

The sport's power-brokers are Serbia and Croatia.

Serbia are the current Olympic title holders and have grabbed the World League title consecutively since 2013, while Italy and Croatia secured the silver and bronze medals respectively in 2017.

Croatia won the World Championships tournament, ahead of Hungary and Serbia, last summer in Budapest.
