The Bahamas, Canada, Great Britain and the United States have all secured their place in the last day of play-offs at the World Baseball Softball Confederation Co-Ed Slow Pitch World Cup in Florida.

The United States, who ended the round-robin phase in third, beat the Turks and Caicos Islands 26-5 and Britain 21-5 to become the first team to advance.

Next up for them is a match tomorrow against The Bahamas, who defeated Curaçao 14-13 and Canada 19-13 to ensure another day’s play.

The winners will advance to the gold medal game, while the loser will play in the bronze medal game.

Canada, who finished second in the round-robin standings, started their day by overcoming Bulgaria 24-10 at the Plant City Stadium.

They then suffered their aforementioned loss to The Bahamas before beating the Turks and Caicos Islands 30-6 in a must-win game.

Round-robin table toppers Britain bounced back from their defeat to the US by claiming a crucial 14-8 win over Bulgaria.

Canada and Britain will play each other tomorrow with the winner advancing to the bronze medal game.

Today's one other match saw Bulgaria beat Curaçao 18-9. 

Co-ed slow pitch features both male and female athletes playing together alongside one another on the field.

Each team is allowed a maximum of 20 players, with no fewer than five being of one gender.

The Bahamas earned victory in 2016 by beating Britain 22-11.
