India's Kidambi Srikanth continued his sensational form by claiming a fourth World Superseries crown of the year at the Badminton World Federation French Open in Paris today.

Taiwan's world number one Tai Tzu Ying was also a dominant winner in the women's singles event.

Both players overwhelmed Japanese opponents in matches lasting little over half-an-hour at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin.

Srikanth required just 34 minutes to thrash Kenta Nishimoto 21-14, 21-13 and follow his Denmark Open victory last week.

"I’m just happy with the way it went the last couple of weeks," the 24-year-old said.

"I felt it would be a tough match, but in the end I’m happy with the way I played.

"In the semis and quarters I started slow, but today I wanted to start well."
