Tunisia and Nigeria will meet in the final of AfroBasket 2017 after winning their semi-finals today.

The Tunisians delighted their home fans by overcoming Morocco 60-52 at the Salle Omnisport de Rades in Tunis.

Forward Mohamed Hadidane led the scoring for the hosts with 22 points in total.

Victory means Tunisia have improved on their performance from two years ago when they claimed the bronze medal in a tournament also played at home.

Nigeria, meanwhile, moved within one win of retaining their crown after defeating Senegal 76-71.

Midway through the second period, Senegal's Youssoupa Ndoye shattered the backboard with a thunderous slam dunk.

Play eventually resumed after a 25-minute delay and the Nigerians went on to claim victory.

Senegal will be hoping to improve on their performance from two years ago where they lost in the bronze medal match to Tunisia.

Action is due to conclude tomorrow with the gold and bronze medal matches.
