The 2018 edition is due to take place in Hungarian capital Budapest from October 22 to 28.

As released during the recent World Wrestling Championships in Paris, the international schedule also includes the Senior European Championships in Russian city Kaspiysk.

UWW President Nenad Lalovic defended the decision by the UWW Bureau to award Kaspiysk the event, scheduled to take place between March 20 and 25.

It has also been revealed that Port Harcourt in Nigeria is due to host the Cadet, Junior and Senior African Championships between February 7 and 11.

Lima in Peru, host city of the 2019 Pan-American Games, will stage the Pan American Championships from April 27 to 29.

Yigo in Guam will host all three Oceania age-level events between May 17 and 20, while Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan will stage the Senior Asian Championships from February 28 and March 4.

The Under-23 World Championships were given to Bucharest in Romania with a date still to be confirmed.

Trnava in Slovakia is set to stage the Junior World Championships from September 18 to 23 and Croatian capital Zagreb will act as the location for the 2018 Cadet World Championships between July 3 and 8.
