Seguin finished behind race winner Bjørnar Erikstad from Norway as the weather put paid to the majority of action on day two.

The Czech sailor could only manage 13th today, a result he chose to discard.

Australia's Matt Bugg and Germany's Heiko Kroger were third and fourth respectively in a race where wind speeds varied from five to 16 knots.

Erikstad managed to get a clean start in the middle of the line and it was an advantage he was able to keep hold of as he sped to a commanding victory which elevates him to sixth place overall.

Bina is second on the standings behind Seguin as he trails the French athlete by a solitary point, with Kroger occupying the last podium spot on six points.

The 2.4 Norlin fleet were unable to get another race in amid worsening weather conditions.

The men's and women's Hansa 303 fleets attempted to stage one race but the wind had completely disappeared by the time they reached the racing area.

Three races across all three fleets are now due to take place tomorrow in a bid to make up for the loss of today's action.
