Over 60 Nordic combined technical delegates have participated in a seminar in Oberwiesenthal, Germany.
The seminar, which is held on a bi-annual basis, took place on June 10 and 11.
A total of 19 nations were represented by technical delegates, with the seminar designed to educate them to their respective levels.
New candidates were also present as they sought licences, while the seminar also featured presentations, group work and a series of workshops.
Eight candidates took exams at the seminar and will now take part in their first duties as a technical delegate during the forthcoming season.
Attendees were provided with an update of all rule changes which had taken place over the last two years.
The update was given by Günther Csar, the sub-committee for officials, rules and control chairman.
Several highly experienced delegates and International Ski Federation officials were also present at the seminar.
They delivered a programme which covered topics including safety, sanctions and appeals, the wind and gate system and equipment control.
The officials also provided a look back at past season.
Technical delegates also participated in a charity race during the weekend’s programme.
The race was aimed at benefiting an organisation of parents with children affected by cancer.
