Diving powerhouse China won four out of the five titles available at the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Grand Prix in Gatineau in Canada.

The world's most dominant nation again showed their class on the boards at the Centre Sportif de Gatineau.

Jian Yang won the men's 10 metre platform title, registering a score of 550.60 after his six dives.

That was a considerably higher score than Canada's Vincent Riendeau who won a home silver medal on 457.35.

Britain's Matthew Dixon did enough for bronze on 446.25.

Another Chinese title arrived in the women's 3m springboard competition thanks to Dongjin Jia's score of 361.05.

Australia's Annabelle Smith took silver on 317.35 with Canada's Pamela Ware winning another home medal with bronze, scoring 311.90.

In pairs action, China won the men's 3m springboard synchronised gold as Chao He and Cheng Min Liu finished on a score of 407.1.

Colombian duo Sebastian Villa Castaneda and Daniel Restrepo Garcia won silver on 380.22 in front of United States pair Dashiell Enos and Henry Fusaro.

The US team scored 371.25 for bronze.

China's fourth gold came in the women's 10m platform synchro, which was won by Xin Liu and Rui Zhang who tallied 324.36 points.

Nana Sasaki and Matsuri Arai of Japan won silver on 307.32 with Australians Melissa Wu and Taneka Kovchenko tallying 301.56 for third.

Japan were the only other country to taste gold medal success thanks to Minami Itahashi and Kazuki Murakami's win in the mixed 10m platform synchro.

They scored 309.06 to beat silver medallists Diego Balleza and Gabriela Agundez of Mexico, who managed 304.20.

Bronze went to Declan Stacey and Wu of Australia, who scored 262.02 to give the latter a second medal of the day.

Five more finals will take place tomorrow.
