The men's downhill at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Alpine World Championships was postponed today due to fog in St Moritz.

Organisers consistently delayed the start of the blue-riband event but visibility remained poor in the middle of the course and no racing was possible.

The latest start time had been 2.30pm local time.

The event has been rescheduled for tomorrow where it will take place after the women's downhill.
