Scotland and England will lock horns in the open singles final at the World Indoor Bowls Championships after Paul Foster and Greg Harlow each won last-four clashes today.

Foster, winner in 1998, 2001, 2005 and 2011, was first up this morning at the Potters Leisure Resort in Norfolk.

The Scot started superbly to win the first set 11-4 over English-opponent Les Gillett.

Competition was closer in the second set but a 5-5 scoreline was not enough to ensure a decider.

Stewart Anderson hoped to make it an all-Scottish final when playing Harlow in the afternoon clash.

But, after winning the first set, he proved unable to maintain his momentum and ultimately lost 6-7, 9-7, 2-1.

Harlow will now hope to replicate his victory in the 2010 event.

He also beat Foster in thrilling fashion in a third-set tie breaker at November's Scottish International Open Bowls Championship in Perth.
