Hosts Sweden dominated the competition at the FIS Rollerski World Cup in Sollefteå, earning all 12 podium positions available.

All of the races were conducted on a loop course in the town with a varying number of laps for each of the different classes.

Organisers gained permission to close roads, with the course finishing with the famous climb up to Hallstabergeth.

In the women's juniors, Moa Olsson showed fine form when she convincingly won the race ahead of Jenny Solin. 

Malin Boerjesjoe came third after a tough battle with Moa Lundgren for the bronze medal.

In the men's junior class, it was an unexpected victory for Gabriel Strid, who claimed a winner's medal in only his second World Cup start.

Marcus Fredriksson finished second and Adam Persson third.

"It was a wet but fun day." Strid said.

Sandra Olsson finished second after climbing Hallstaberget very well were she passed Evelina Settlin who eventually finished third.

The men's class also proved to be an extremely tense and exciting affair as the field were crammed together at the beginning of the climb.

Once they had completed that stage Robin Norum went on to claim first place

Second was Erik Silfver and Marcus Ruus was third.

Overall the Swedish Rollerski team is in possession all the leader bibs with Emma Larsson, Marcus Fredriksson and Robin Norum successfully defending their leads, whilst Sandra Olsson regained her place at the summit of the women's class.
