Israel and Belarus each claimed group titles today at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Holon today.

The Israelis, who claimed bronze in the group all-around event behind Russia and Belarus, produced a superb performance to claim the two hoops and three pairs of clubs team gold.

They scored 18.316 points to edge-out Spain, who managed 18.223.

Bulgaria were the only other team to accrue over 18 points, as they posted 18.183 for bronze.

Belarus were forced to settle for fourth place, with Russian in eighth.

Belarus pipped the host nation to gold in the five ribbon event, however, with their squad winning with 18.516 points.

Israel placed second with 18.400, while Spain took the bronze with 18.133.

Bulgaria and Russia finished fourth and fifth respectively.
