Pistol shooter Irina Liakhu won gold on a good day for Ukraine at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Shooting World Cup in Bangkok.

She claimed the second victory of her career in the P2 women's 10 metre air pistol SH1 in the Thai capital.

Leading throughout the elimination round, the Ukrainian finished with a score of 194.5.

South Korea's Myungsoon Park tallied 193.9 for the silver medal as Ukraine also grabbed bronze thanks to Olga Kovalchuk's 169.8.

In the R7 men's 50m rifle three positions SH1, the United Arab Emirates’ World Championships silver medallist Abdullah Sultan Alaryani collected his third medal in as many days.

After two previous rifle silvers, this time it was gold after three strong rounds and a score of 446.6

Silver went to Israel after Doron Shaziri scored 444.8 while Ukraine grabbed another medal as Iurii Stoiev managed 430.6 for bronze.

Slovakia’s world and European champion Veronika Vadovicova came out on top in the R2 women's 10m air rifle standing SH1.

She claimed a second gold of the World Cup after dominating throughout and finishing on 202.8.

Germany collected silver thanks to Elke Seeliger while there was an individual medal for hosts Thailand as Wasana Keatjaratkul bagged bronze.
