Organisers of the World Sport and Business Summit, due to take place in Sochi from April 19 to 24, are urging those hoping to be part of the six-day gathering to register early and gain the early-rate benefits.

Those that do will receive more than CHF500 (£365/$553/€488) worth of discount compared to normal rate prices.

Following Saturday's deadline, normal rates will come into effect between February 1 and March 31, while the late/on-site rate begins from April 1.

The SportAccord Convention travels to Russia for the second time in three years this April, with Sochi chosen to host the event ahead of Abu Dhabi, Durban and an unnamed city in Brazil.

Last year's convention was held in Belek, Turkey,while the 2013 edition of the global sports convention took place in St Petersburg.

The SportAccord Convention World Sport and Business Summit is billed as the world's premier annual event at the service of sport, focused on driving positive change internationally, and dedicated to engaging rights holders, Organising Committees, cities, press and media, businesses and other organisations in the development of sport.
