SportAccrord Convention is celebrating less than 100 Days To Go ©SACSportAccord Convention is celebrating less than 100 days to go until the world's premier annual event at the service of sport opens its doors to the biggest names in global sport and business.

As the days tick down, organisers are calling for those interested in attending this newly-shaped World Sport and Business Summit to register early in order to take advantage of the global networking opportunities at the convention.

The 2015 Sport Accord Convention, due to take place between April 19 and 24 in the city which successfully hosted last year's Winter Olympics and Paralympics, is set to be the biggest in the event's history with more than 7,500 delegates expected to attend.

This marks an increase of more than 5,000 delegates from previous years, highlighting the ambitions of President Marius Vizer to spread the Summit to all corners of the sports industry.

It will be the second time in three years that the Convention has been staged in Russia following a successful 2013 event in St Petersburg, where those attending included President Vladimir Putin.

Sochi was chosen ahead of Abu Dhabi, Durban and an unnamed city in Brazil to host the event.
