DJ Forbes, Tim Mikkelson and Tomasi Cama from reigning World Series champions New Zealand have joined the likes of England's try-scoring machine Dan Norton, American speedster Carlin Isles, Kenya's Andrew Amonde and Ant Hayes from Hong Kong in a promotional video released by HSBC.

The film features the stars taking part in a night-time hip-hop style battle to show off their skills, while tribes of fans dance around in costumes on the pitch.

The special video is part of a wider campaign created by Saatchi and Saatchi and is encouraging fans and players to use #bringyourgame on Twitter to show their support for the Hong Kong Sevens which is due to take place from March 28 to 30.

"We love the simplicity and the impact of #bringyourgame," said global head of advertising and marketing communications at HSBC Andrea Newman.

"It is a fun and inherently social campaign that has the ability to invite people in, internally and externally."

A 90-second version of the film has been launched on YouTube (see below) and a 30-second version aired on television globally, with media planning and buying handled by Mindshare.

The video is also due to be aired at this weekend's Tokyo Sevens tournament at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Ground on Saturday (March 22) and Sunday (March 23) and also during the Hong Kong Sevens the following weekend.

Global bank HSBC has been the title sponsor of the Sevens World Series since 2010.

Reigning World Series champions and Rugby World Cup Sevens holders New Zealand head into the competition in Tokyo two points clear of South Africa on the overall rankings after defeating the Blitzbokke last time out on home soil in Auckland.

Fiji sit in third place ahead of England as the series heads into the final stretch with tournaments in England and Scotland in May following the action in Japan and Hong Kong.
