February 5 - Jack & Jones has extended its sponsorship agreement with the EHF Champions League ©Getty Images Men's clothing firm Jack & Jones has continued its association with handball by signing a two-year extension to its sponsorship with the European Handball Federation's (EHF) mens' Velux Champions League.

The deal was struck with the Federation's marketing arm, EHF Marketing GmbH and will see the firm continue its sponsorship of the top men's club handball competition, which began in 2009.

The deal includes exposure though LCD perimeter and playing court advertising in the EHF Champions League and also the men's EHF Cup Finals, due to place in Berlin on May 17 and 18.

"Jack & Jones is a young and vibrant worldwide brand and we are extremely pleased to be able to continue the partnership for a further two years," said EHF Marketing GmbH managing director Peter Vargo.

Jack & Jones, founded in 1990 and is one of Europe's leading producers of menswear, will continue to activate its sponsorship throughout the Champions League season with the use of real time social media campaigns, promotions in its stores and on-site fan activities.

The company will also gain additional brand exposure, with the mopping crews in the EHF Champions League wearing the logo of the brand in all matches of the competition.

"Handball is an energetic and thrilling sport and we believe that it offers our brand the perfect fit," said Jack & Jones manager, Anders Gam.

"We're looking forward to further extending our sponsorship activities in Europe's top club competitions over the next two seasons and bringing Jack & Jones to an ever-growing fan base."

The EHF Champions League sees the top 24 clubs in Europe competing to become continental champion.

HSV Hamburg are the reigning men's Champions League title holders after overcoming FC Barcelona, Intersport 30-29 back in June, in a thrilling finale to last season to claim their first title.
