The IPC is giving people the chance to have their say on the future of the ParalympicsNovember 8 - The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is inviting individuals and organisations that have been involved with the Paralympics to have their say on the future of the Games as part of its current strategic review run by pmplegacy.

Forming part of a stakeholder consultation programme, the "Have your say" forum enables National Paralympic Committees, International Federations, athletes, sponsors, broadcasters, and Organising Committee members to share feedback and ideas on a number of areas, including the sports programme, brand awareness, operations, Games experience, funding, legacy, media, the bidding process and the Olympic-Paralympic relationship.

The review findings will be used to provide guidance on the future strategic direction and positioning of the Paralympics "to further enhance the Games brand, reputation and success, as well as maximise their appeal and commercial attractiveness".

"The aim is to ensure broad engagement with the Paralympic Family in order to inform a clear understanding of the Games key differentiators, strengths, challenges and opportunities," an IPC statement read.

The forum will be open here until January 2014.

The strategic review is expected to have been completed and reported back to the IPC Governing Board by the middle of next year.
