149933169March 26 - USA Synchro have announced their swimming team that will compete at the 2013 Universiade in the Russian city of Kazan in July this year, including eight members of the Stanford University squad that were recently crowned national champions.


Stanford team members Madison Crocker, Morgan Fuller, Leigh Haldeman, Megan Hansley, Mariya Koroleva, Michelle Moore, Olivia Morgan and Evelyna Wang all secured their place on the team for this years' Universiade with their winning performance at the US Collegiate Championships last weekend.

Ohio State's Khadija Zanotto, Rosilyn Tegart of the University of the Incarnate Word and Mary Killman from Lindenwood University - who competed for the US in the duet alongside Koroleva at London 2012 - complete the squad.

Killman and Koroleva, who won silver together in the duet at the 2011 Pan-American Games in Guadalajara, were the only women to compete for the US in synchronised swimming at last summer's Olympic Games after the Americans failed to qualify a team.

Synchronised swimming will be held from July 5 il unt9 at this summer's Universiade, which will take place in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in Western Russia.
