Tin-Tin Ho_of_Great_BritainOctober 11 - Britain's London 2012 Olympic table tennis duo Joanna Parker and Kelly Sibley will be joined by 14-year-old European Youth table tennis bronze medallist Tin-Tin Ho in the senior European Championships in Herning, Denmark next week.

Ho, the European cadet number five from Paddington, London, beat the cadet world number one last season, during which she also won twice on the ITTF circuit in Portugal and France.

After the Championships she will fly to Guam to represent the European cadet team in their World Cadet Challenge against Asia.

Speaking ahead of the European Championships, which run from October 17 to 21, Britain's head coach Nick Jarvis commented: "Tin-Tin is just 14 years old but has gained selection for this event by right.

"The experience will give her a better understanding of what she needs to do on her pathway to being a top world class senior."

Ho said: "I Just want to do as well and learn as much as I can.

"Hopefully win as many as I can, yes, as it is also a European Championships but for my age group.

"The Europeans and the pre-European camp in Sheffield will both be great ways of preparation for the Cadet Challenge as I will be training and playing against seniors instead of cadets."

The British men's challenge in Denmark will be headed by its world number 85 Paul Drinkhall, who is seeded 32 but hopes to make the top 16.

The 22-year-old's previous best was a last 32 finish in St Petersburg, Russia in 2009, but after competing at both the London 2012 Olympic Games and Liebherr Men's World Cup recently, he has re-found his best form to once again enter the world's top 100 ahead of the competition.

Liam Pitchford, 19, will also be gaining further experience having competed in both the Olympics and the World Cup alongside Drinkhall.

In addition, fellow Olympian Andrew Baggaley will compete in Denmark alongside Daniel Reed and Darius Knight, who make up the male quintet sent by the English Table Tennis Association (ETTA).
