October 25 - Britain's Anthony Clark and Donna Kellogg produced a gutsy display, but went down in three sets in the mixed doubles final at the Denmark Open in Odense today.

They lost to second seeds Joachim Fischer and Christinna Pedersen, from Denmark, 21-16 25-27 21-17, but only after the English duo gave them a real scare after they had led14-12 in the final set.

Fischer and Pedersen asserted the dominance early in the first set and looked to be heading for a comfortable win when they had two match points at 20-18 in the second.

But the English pair, seeded seven, saved both and a further five before taking the set on their first set point.

They were behind again early in the third, slipping 8-2 adrift, but again battled back to lead by two points.

But they could not close out the contest as the Danes clinched the set and the title.
