The Championships run from the August 18-26 at Belle Vue in Manchester. The Championships are a bi-annual event featuring eight international teams including Spain, the reigning men’s European Champions.

 

The Netherlands, holders of the women’s title, will also be competing.

 

Manchester 2007 will be only the second time in the history of the event that both the men’s and women’s tournaments have been held concurrently at the same venue.

 

Qatar Airways, who have now sponsored the National Indoor Hockey Championships at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham each February for the past two years, are building on their existing affiliation with the sport by moving onto the international hockey stage.
