alt JENS GRILL (pictured), England Badminton's full-time world class start coach, who has been in charge of co-ordinating the identification of talented youngsters for the 2012 Olympics, has resigned.

The Dane is to leave his post in April after six years.

"One of the legacies that Jens will leave is that those players challenging for medals in 2012 will have been identified and been a part of the programmes whilst Jens has been head coach," said a statement from England Badminton.

"Over the years Jens has demonstrated that he is a knowledgeable, thorough and professional individual who sets high standards for himself and those around him.

"He is highly respected by coaches, players, player's parents, volunteers and staff, and he will be greatly missed.

"We wish to sincerely thank Jens for everything he has done and say that he will always be welcome in English Badminton."
