Athletem listening_to_music_13_JuneJune 14 - Technogym, the Official Fitness Equipment Supplier of London 2012, has joined forces with Universal Music, the Official Music Licensee of the Games, to create The Workout Mix in support of Britain's Olympic and Paralympic athletes who will be competing this summer.

The mix includes two non-stop pieces featuring chart hits as well as an exclusive hand-picked bonus disc featuring the favourite songs of Britain's Olympians and Paralympians.

The announcement was made here at Forman's Fish Island, the closest venue to the London Olympic Stadium, with Beijing 2008 400 metres champion Christine Ohuruogu and London 2012 Paralympic hopeful Sophia Warner were in attendance.

"It is great to be here and see this announcement take place," sprinter Warner told insidethegames.

"Technogym has been really important in helping me with my preparations for the Paralympics and obviously music is great to listen to when you are working out, so I think this is a great partnership."

The three-disc album includes over 20 tracks picked by Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes including marathon world record holder Paula Radcliffe, world champion gymnast Beth Tweddle, European swimming gold medallist Joanne Jackson and Paralympic wheelchair racer Shelly Woods as well as Warner and many more.

It includes hours of non-stop mixes of chart hits including Rihanna (pictured below), Lady Gaga, The Saturdays, Jessie J, Black Eyed Peas, Tulisa, LMFAO and many more.

The album will be available from July 2 on iTunes and at music retailers.
