The five-time British champion and 2010 Commonwealth Games silver medallist Francesca Jones (pictured) will lead the British contingent, after she made it through two selection events, which were held at the Gymnastics and Martial Arts Centre in Birmingham on July 24 and August 7.

The 20-year-old from Wales will compete alongside 2011 British clubs and ribbon champion Keziah Gore and first year senior Mimi Cesar, both of who will be making their World Championship debuts in France.

The event begins the qualification process for the London 2012 Olympic Games next year with the highest ranked British athlete in qualification I [CI] set to be the nominated competitor to be submitted to the British Olympic Association (BOA) for ratification in June 2012.

The highest ranked British athlete will also be nominated to compete at the second Olympic qualification event - the London 2012 test event at the North Greenwich Arena, which will take place from January 14 to 19 next year.

Meanwhile, the top six countries at the event will automatically qualify for Group Competition at the 2012 Olympics.

Five team officials, led by the head of delegation Steve Green, will join the three British athletes in France, including coaches Savina Gancheva and Anni Ahmavaara, judge Nia Thomas and physio Louise Curley.
