James Huckle with gunApril 22 - James Huckle, who recently broke the British record in the men's Three Positions Rifle at the World Cup in Changwon, South Korea, will be among a team of 16 representing Britain at next month's ISSF World Cup in Fort Benning, United States.


The 20-year-old from Harlow, who bettered the mark set in 1989 by British shooting legend Malcolm Cooper, will be joined by Jen McIntosh, who brought home gold from the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi for Scotland with a record-breaking performance in the women's singles 50 metres rifle prone competition.

Neil Stirton and Jon Hammond, who are also 2010 Scottish Commonwealth champions, are listed by British Shooting in the 50m prone rifle men and 50m three positions rifle men.

The event will take place from May 14-23.
