International University Sport Federations (FISU) World University Championships' delegates have met at the governing body's headquarters in Lausanne to "exchange plans and strategies" prior to the 2024 season.

In addition to the Organising Committees' representatives, the three-day seminar was attended by FISU International Technical Committee chair Marian Dymalski in Lausanne.

Each presenter gave explanations on venues, installations and equipment to be used as well as planned cultural activities and the legacy associated with the event.

FISU sports director Juan-Carlos Holgado provided guidance and offered suggestions to delegates.

"The diversity of the projects presented also allowed interesting discussions on the importance of volunteers, the role of universities, the need for more sustainability and the support of the media when organising such world-wide events," read a FISU statement.
