Consistency was key for Norway today at the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) Ski Jumping World Cup who took the mixed team gold medal today in Willingen.

Anna Odine Strøm, her female team-mate Silje Opseth and men's jumper Halvor Egner Granerud were all second-best on their respective legs and Marius Lindvik was third on his leg, leading to a total of 450.6 points.

Chiara Kreuzer and Stefan Kraft got the best marks in the women's and men's competition, but Austria were unable to win the title.

Kreuzer scored 120.1 while Kraft's score was 137.4.

However, Jan Hörl and Eva Pinkelnig were fifth in their respective legs, with Pinkelnig's jump stopping any chances of a victory as the team received a total of 415.1.

Germany's Selina Freitag, Karl Geiger, Katharina Althaus and Andreas Wellinger combined for the bronze medal, having scored 409.8.

Japanese quartet Yuki Ito, Naoki Nakamura, Sara Takanashi and Ryoyu Kobayashi were fourth for 375.8, with Slovenia fifth.

Despite Ziga Jelar and Ema Klinec having the best middle legs, Slovenia faced an uphill battle due to a lacklustre first attempt by Nika Kriznar, who was 89 points down on her female team-mate.

Timi Zajc completed the quartet.

In women's individual qualification, Althaus topped the standings with 114.7 points, in front of Japanese pair Takanashi and Ito on 105.2 and 100.2 respectively.
