The Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) has held its Annual General Meeting, with its President Jeevan Ram Shrestha saying all stakeholders should unite to improve standards in sport.

Shrestha, who also holds a Government position as the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, regarded this a necessity for development in the nation.

"We don't have any other option but to work together to take Nepali sports to the next level," said Shrestha at the NOC headquarters in Satdobato.

NOC secretary general Nilendra Raj Shrestha presented a report for 2022 and mentioned plans for 2023, while NOC treasurer Ratan Kumar Tandon submitted the estimated budget for the new year, as well as the financial statement for 2022.
