Timothy Fok has been re-elected as President of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong (SF&OC) after a vote at the organisation's Annual General Meeting.

The International Olympic Committee honorary member was unanimously backed to extend his reign for a further four years at the Jockey Club Lecture Theatre of Olympic House.

Karl C Kwok, Brian Stevenson, Tong Wai Lun and Ronnie Wong were also all elected as the organisation's four vice-presidents at the meeting.

Several honorary positions were also awarded including secretary general to Edgar J T Yang, deputy secretary general for Wong Po Kee and treasurer to Derrick Wong.

The SF&OC claimed the election was concluded "successfully in an open and fair manner" and was "satisfied with the overall electoral arrangements".

Fok has served as SF&OC President for 24 years after being first elected in 1998.

The 76-year-old is also head of the Hong Kong Football Association as well as being an Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) Executive Council member and chair of the ANOC Events Commission.

He has been vice-president of the Olympic Council of Asia since 1999.

Previously, Fok has held a series of roles within the IOC including on the Coordination Commissions for both Rio 2016 and Beijing 2022.
