Indonesia came from behind in dramatic fashion to defeat the Philippines today in the grand final of Dota 2 at the International Esports Federation (IESF) World Championships here.

The Philippines were looking the more confident of the teams, having defeated the hosts earlier in the competition and later advancing automatically to the grand final.

Indonesia defeated Argentina in straight matches, having won their previous encounter in three matches.

Argentina had to overcome Turkey in the match to make the final - having lost the first 3-2 before turning the tide, with 2-0 and 2-1 results in their favour.

In the final, Indonesia won in straight matches, sealing it with two late goals to win 3-1.

In Tekken 7, Pakistan won the trophy with victory over Italy, who had to come through the loser bracket to defeat Kuwait in the maximum five games, taking the lead twice and being pegged back both times, before winning the decider.

Kazakhstan also won the PUBG trophy today.

Mongolia are set to face North Macedonia in the CS:GO grand final tomorrow, after winning a rematch between against the Team IESF - the "neutral" Russians.

Previously, Team IESF came from a set down to beat them 13-16, 16-8, 16-8.

For a second chance of making the final, the neutrals had to defeat North Macedonia, who won 16-14, 16-19, 16-8 over Germany in the previous round.

In the decider, the score finished 16-5, 16-11 to North Macedonia.

Finally, the Philippines defeated Cambodia in straight matches in Mobile Legends Bang Bang to make the final tomorrow against Indonesia.
